Gilana began her career as a marketing executive, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding people, communication, and strategy. Through her work, she learned how to effectively connect ideas with the right audience. An approach that later became highly valuable in financial planning. Marketing taught her the importance of empathy, adaptability, and the ability to engage individuals from all walks of life. It also sparked her desire to deepen her analytical skills, allowing her to better understand not just what people want, but what they truly need.

A turning point came when Gilana was hospitalised. In that moment, she realised that while she knew insurance existed, she had little understanding of how it actually worked. Experiencing that uncertainty firsthand gave her a new perspective. What was once just a concept became deeply personal. It was then that financial planning took on a more meaningful purpose. She saw how thoughtful and well-structured planning could make a real difference during critical and uncertain times in a person’s life.

Today, Gilana works closely with individuals and families to build holistic and sustainable financial plans. She focuses on helping them protect what matters most while planning intentionally for the future. She believes that financial planning goes beyond numbers and products. It is about providing clarity, building trust, and serving with genuine care.

Working with Gilana has been a really positive experience. Before starting, I wasn’t sure what to expect from financial planning, but it never felt like a typical client-advisor relationship. Instead, it felt more like having a friend guide me through things, which made it much easier to open up and ask questions.

What I appreciate most is how she doesn’t hard sell. She takes the time to really understand what I need and thoughtfully works through what fits best, rather than just suggesting random options. That made me feel a lot more confident and comfortable throughout the process.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I felt could have been better. Everything was smooth and easy to understand.
